Fingerless Gloves

I did it! I finally did it!
My hands have been too cold for too long and finally I have completed my first pair of fingerless gloves.

This is the pattern I used, and got me hooked on gloves!

How to knit the thumb:
I added some stitches to the thumb. I picked up stitches along the seam joining the hand so that the thumb seam would be touching the hand seam and eliminate any holes.
Then it was necessary to split the stitches up onto 3 or 4 double pointed needles to continue knitting in the round.
Make sure you keep count so you can duplicate it on the other glove J

Check them out! They’re super easy to make if you get the concept of knitting in the round or with circular needles. You can adapt patterns easily once you get the idea!
I used double-pointed needles and knitted in the round for the first glove, but switched to circular needles for the second glove and you can’t even tell the difference.
